TEX WILLER IN DENMARK
It is quite difficult to obtain information about the Danish Tex Willer publications. However, there have been several series. Already in the year 1949 the first adventures were published in a magazine named "Seriebladet" This periodical is probably a translation from a Swedish magazine (see with Norway for a cover scan). Publications lasted from number 1 in 1949 until number 22 from 1952.
In the '50s the first Tex Willer books are published. During 1956 and 1957 a total of 16 piccolos are being published.
And finally, in 1971, the well-known West European series starts. The Danish books are identical to the Dutch books. Publications do not last long - during 1971/72 and 1975/76 a total of 30 books are published. Numbers from 1973 and 1974 are missing and were not printed...
